Bradford Literature Festival (BLF, 28 June – 7 July 2024), Europe’s most extensive and diverse festival, has launched a major nationwide partnership with Network Rail. From 1 June – 7 July, the festival is taking over nine train stations across the UK with billboards and branding, expecting to reach 44 million impressions over the duration of the partnership.
The promotional partnership has been activated in stations across the country, including Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Birmingham New Street, Leeds and five major London stations, Euston, Kings Cross, London Bridge, London Victoria and London Waterloo. All stations feature posters and prominent festival branding throughout the concourse, inspiring thousands of passengers who pass through each day.
Peter Hendy, chairman of Network Rail, said: “We are proud to support the Bradford Literature Festival, which reflects the diverse and dynamic spirit of modern Britain. By bringing the festival’s branding to major national train stations, we aim to celebrate this milestone and encourage more people to engage with literature and culture. This initiative aligns with our commitment to enhancing the travel experience and supporting community events that make a positive impact.”
Syima Aslam, CEO and Artistic Director of Bradford Literature Festival, said: “Bradford Literature Festival creates tangible change by inspiring the next generation across the North and the UK. This presence in major national train stations is a powerful way to showcase the festival’s impact and bring our vibrant celebration of literature to a broader audience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and invite more people to join us in Bradford this month. We are hugely indebted to Network Rail for recognising the importance of our diverse festival and helping us to spread the word on the occasion of our tenth anniversary.”
