Sold Out

Description

A hidden secret lies below the city of Bradford, and Chair of ‘Friends of Bradford Beck’, Barney Lerner, is here to tell all. Beneath our bustling town flows an underground river system, which has disappeared from view since the industrial boom in the 20th century.

Once known as the ‘Mucky Beck’, Lerner will divulge its history and tell us all about the Plaque Trail, where plaques mark the route of the Beck beneath your feet and reveals lines of a wonderfully evocative poem.

Find out about our town’s hidden history in this fascinating illustrated talk.
