Finding your Feet with the First Folio: Shakespearean Storytelling Workshop

Description

Don’t miss this amazing interactive adult workshop, delving into the creation of one of the most important books in the Western literary canon. Discover what made William Shakespeare the timeless genius that he’s become.

Led by Royal Shakespeare Company member and playwright, Julia Smith, you will explore and unpick some of Shakespeare’s most famous speeches, as drawn from the 18 plays that we could have lost had it not been for the First Folio.

The workshop, which is part of the celebrations marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio, will also focus on storytelling and rhetoric, as well as the importance of telling our own stories and finding our voice.

No experience is necessary. Just bring yourself and a pen.
