Iftikhar Malik

Professor-Emeritus Iftikhar H. Malik, a trustee and fellow of the Royal Historical Society, taught modern history at Bath Spa University for 27 years, following a senior fellowship at St. Antony’s College, Oxford. He has been a visiting professor at numerous universities worldwide and is an MCR at Wolfson College, Oxford since 2003. Trained at Michigan State, Columbia, and UC Berkeley, he has published twenty-one books and numerous research papers on intellectual, political, and international history. His recent works include Curating Lived Islam in the Muslim World (2021) and the novel Pearls and Shards. He volunteers as a Trustee and Senior Librarian at the Oxford Union Society.
