Kamin Mohammadi
Kamin Mohammadi is an author, award-winning journalist, broadcaster, human rights activist, writing and yoga teacher and passionate public speaker. She talks on topics as diverse as Iranian women’s rights, and the importance of living well and in harmony with the earth and ourselves. Born in Iran, she and her family moved to the UK during the 1979 Iranian Revolution. As a journalist she has written for the British and international press including The Times, the Financial Times, Washington Post, The Sunday Times (UK) The Guardian, The Observer, and many others. Most recently her journalism on Iran has won two prizes from the LA Press Club, and previously has been nominated for an Amnesty Human Rights in Journalism award in the UK, and for a National Magazine Award by the American Society of Magazine Editors in the U.S.
