Join author, Marcela Ferreira, as she introduces the characters from her book, The Queen Next Door. Play games, draw pictures, and travel to a faraway kingdom in this fun storytelling workshop.
What does it mean to be the Queen? Do you need a big kingdom? Then again, maybe you need an enormous bedroom in which to play. You’d need a crown, wouldn’t you?

About the Author
Marcela Ferreira
Marcela was born in Rio de Janeiro and spent her childhood between the beach and her grandparents’ farm. She moved to London as a teenager and had to quickly get to grips with a whole new language (tough times!). Being bilingual means a joyful interest in tongue twisting stories, and how country and culture affect the tales we tell. Marcela loves writing about friendship, growth and being yourself – or anything that makes her laugh! She lives in London with her husband, two children and a pair of rescued cats.
